Always great! Enjoyed my lunch for the next 2 days also, the portions are very generous.

I did not have any whiskey, but the road outside was very nice. My hamburger was incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful.

I absolutely loved going to whiskey road I will be back again in the near future. The pork tenderloin was amazing. The sandwich is huge and cooked to perfection. The breading was crunchy and texture was perfect. The meat was very tender and moist. The atmosphere of this place is wonderful. I love the gluten free options as well.

Huge menu it was so hard to decide what to eat everything sounded good. The jalapeno dip was absolutely delicious!!! The French Dip lacked flavor and the bun was hard, but the french fries were super tasty. My husband got a steak he said it was delicious and he would ordered it again. Service was fast waitress was nice, and kept my drink full. I would definitely go back again!!!

So good! Their burgers are great. We've really like their Coach Jake and Bison Burgers. Our kids love the chicken bites and actually eat their food here. Kids meals are all $5 except the burger is a couple dollars more. The kids got donuts with their meals too which were very good. Service was great. Waitress was attentive and very friendly.

Great burgers, great whiskey and beer selection, awesome staff, and we had an all around good time. One of our go to places in DT CF.

Enjoyed multiple dinners at Whiskey Road when visiting on business trips. Great drinks from a creative bartender and delicious food. A huge whiskey selection which made my husband very happy and even I was able to find a delicious cocktail.

Not often anymore that you can get a great overly filling meal with the family and barely break a hundred. Secondly, having enough for leftovers. Not a small portion of leftovers either, I am in that good type food pain yet again. Great staff and an atmosphere that is unmatched in the downtown area. We will certainly be coming back. However, next time we'll saddle up to the bar for the impressive whiskey and scotch selection. Thank you for the great time.

They have every normal drinkers whiskey and a lot of pro faves too. Drink pricing is reasonable for the area. Food pricing was a bit on the high side IMHO. I got fajitas and they were okay but two nitpicks 1 - never had fajitas anywhere without pico and 2 - they don't give u enough tiny fajita shells but charge you for 3 even if u only need one more. Anyway, this probably won't be your go-to joint but it's fun to go now and again. Service was good and attentive. Place is clean and not overly loud like some other places like it can be.

Wonderful. We were seated at a table with 4 beer spouts so we can draw our own beer. Emily was our waitress, very personable, knowledgeable, friendly with great customer service. Food was outstanding , served hot and fresh. Erik, the manager checked on us twice, great personal touch. Fun for all ages.

We liked this pace. Nice open floor plan and nice atmosphere. What’s really cool is that you can get a large private booth which has beer taps to four unique brews. It’s all computerized and you are charged by the ounce. I ordered one of their vegetable hamburgers. It was great. Tasted like a real burger. The only drawback is it was a bit pricey. $13.00. But that did include fries. The staff was friendly. I’ll be going back to this place.

Wow GREAT Food!! It was very busy the night we were there... So a little slow but the Service was great!

I had a really good burger during my visit here. It was cooked perfectly. Lots of places tend to cook their burgers to the point of being a charcoal briquette, but this one was perfectly juicy. Lots if extras came with the burger, including some delicious fried pickle spears. Overall a great lunch experience!

Great food and service! Went on a Monday evening and there was a good crowd - I would expect a wait on weekends.

Like the crab cakes except it's kind burnt from the outside. The sweet potato fries is burnt too! Our server is wonderful!

Excellent selection of food and drink. Service was a little subpar as the server forgot to put in our appetizer and drinks sat empty for a bit. Sandwich and salad we ordered came quickly and was very good.

Small BBQ and bar. There are a few booths, high tops and bar seating. Nice atmosphere and lighting make it a good place for a friendly meal. The food prices are on par with a BBQ place. It was busy so dinner took about an hour but my cup was never empt. Our waitress was very friendly and sociable. The Mashed potatoes are a must try, very smooth and flavorful.

Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and timely. We liked the music mix from the videos being played on flat screens throughout the room. Not too loud that we couldn't carry a conversation. We didn't eat there but had a couple tasty and ice cold beverages. The food did look well plated and delicious. Only negative was the person at the door that seemed put off that we weren't there to eat a meal. Our waitress more than made up for the rude greeting that we initially received. We came close to leaving and exploring one of the many other options in downtown Cedar Falls but we were glad we stayed.

The service was very good and the food was good. The menu was a little strange... There were definitely things on there that are of no interest to me and be sure to ask what it really is! Mashed potatoes should be potatoes not cauliflower! Fries should be potatoes also not cauliflower.... Over all it was an OK experience

Some things have 1 ingredient too many in them as they cater to the "hipster" market with the natural organic sales pitch. If whiskey is your thing, this is a great place to try different kinds of whiskey. They also have beer on tap and even offer it on tap at the table. Its a neat feature but then limits the table to two different types of beer.

Visited from out of town and I would definitely make it a point to go back!

Food was delicious. Wait staff and bar tender was great. I had BBQ brisket sandwich and it was juicy and tender. One of the best I have had!!!

Went specifically for the impossible burger and it was better than expected, they also offer a vegan bun which is always a plus.

Our meals were FABULOUS! I had the Salmon BLT and they also accommodated me with a gf bun. My husband had the Smothered Chicken w/bourbon sauce and it was AMAZING! Our friends ordered the Seared Tuna and ribs...FANTASTIC!! Katie was an awesome waitress and very prompt with drinks and removing empty dishes. However, I would recommend going early as it gets busy FAST!! We were there by 5pm.

This was my first time dining here and I loved it. The food was wonderful and great flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something different than your average bar eats at very reasonable prices.

Every thing was great, the prime rib was perfect, the waitress was kind and always there when wer wanted something and the food took no time at all to get. I would highly recommend them.

Good food, was brought to out table quickly

Whiskey Road is located in downtown Cedar Falls. There is a large bar with an incredible selection of liquor. The menu has a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, steaks, and vegamln options. There are TVs located all around playing sports. The staff was knowledgeable about the food. The staff was courteous and attentive without being annoying.

Fast service, great food, and Emily (our waitress) was one of the best waitresses I have had in a long time! Thank you Emily for making our visit such a great experience!

Whiskey selection was incredible, food was good as well. Service was kind of lousy though. Sat at the bar and was planning to try at least a few different whiskeys, but while the bartender was nice and seemed knowledgeable, he was very unattentive and never asked if I wanted another drink despite my glass being empty for half the time I was there eating dinner.

Food was pretty good tasting. Steak was over cooked but only slightly. They did offer to correct the issue but I was fine with how it tasted. Overall, cool place for a casual date.

One of the best restaurants in Black Hawk county. I had the ahi tuna along with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. The service was great and the food was also.

First you walk up to this restaurant and it looks amazing from the outside, very well taken care of. You are greeted at the door by very friendly staff. They took us to our own quiet area. Got scared we wouldn't have that great of service since we were kinda alone. I was wrong, huge shout out to our waiter/bartender I think his name was Mike. Super friendly and helpful. Drinks were amazing, you dont go to a place that has whiskey in its name and not get some whiskey. The food was top notch. I would recommend the bacon cheese tots. Those things were cooked to perfection. Taste was next level. Main course came and it didnt let us down one bit. Great presentation and amazing flavor. All in all even if you dont like whiskey the food is well worth the time. I will be returning when I'm in the area. Support this great restaurant.

Great food and spot on service. Our server, Callie, was wonderful. She was patient with us as we poured over the drink menu and the lunch menu. They have an expansive list of whiskeys, and a good list of local brews. I had a seasonal lunch offering... the soft shell crab BLT w/ side of bacon green beans. Big sandwich and generous portions! The manager was around and checking on tables too! If we're back in the area we'll definitely be back!

Arrived for dinner about 5:30 . Everything was going fine there were 3 in r party . Ordered food looked great brisket dinner was horrible . I couldn’t cut it with anything . I brought it home but probably throw it away. I was with guests so decided not to make a big deal . Prior times I’ve eaten there were very good . I didn’t think u could ruin brisket.

The ribeye was excellent. Because it was 14 ounces I split it with a friend who knew that she couldn't eat that much either. We both throughly enjoyed our meal and walked away stuffed. They also had a good selection of whiskeys and beers. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.
